Trust and estate transfers outnumber open sales in Abington's August deed filings
Plymouth County Registry of Deeds recorded 13 Abington property transfers between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, but only three disclosed a sale price: $900, $625 and $450, for a median of $625. The month's top disclosed sale was 13 Mahoney Cir. at $900. Bedford Street saw two transfers on the same day. Seven of the 13 transfers moved property among family members or into family trusts, and none of those disclosed a price, a pattern consistent with non-market transfers rather than a read on current home values.
