He is survived by his wife, Christy Campea; his children, Vanessa Mackie (John Mackie) and Marc Campea (Tricia Campea); his granddaughters, Thea and Gianna Mackie; and his brother, Pelino Campea (Theresa Campea), among other family members. He was predeceased by his parents, Francesco Paolo Campea and Vera Campea, and his brother, Bruno Campea. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home – South, 809 Main St, Weymouth, MA. A celebration of life is scheduled for Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 9:30 AM at the same location, followed by a Mass at 10:30 AM at St. Bridget Catholic Church, 455 Plymouth St, Abington, MA. Memorial donations may be made to the Harvard Brain Tissue Research Center and Old Colony Hospice per the family's wishes. Joyce E. Christie, 91, of Abington, died on June 23, 2026. She is survived by her children, Jean Ketterle of Abington, Cheryl Willcutt (John) of Abington, Mary Christie (Timothy Zantow) of Brockton, and Debra Christie of Abington; her siblings, Beverly Christie of Brockton and Paul Shea of Texas; and her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert F. Abbott and Evelyn Abbott, and her brothers, Howard Abbott and Robert Abbott Jr. Visitation was held on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Quealy and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 116 Adams St, Abington, MA. A Mass was held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 10:30 AM at Holy Ghost Church, Whitman, MA, followed by burial at Holy Family Cemetery, Rockland, MA.
